Phase 6 of India’s 2024 General Elections: In the sixth and penultimate round of the general election.
Some Lok Sabha and assembly seats in Odisha, as well as some parliamentary constituencies in West Bengal, will go to the polls on Saturday in phase six.
On Saturday, polls will also be place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag-Rajouri constituency. The poll was postponed from phase three to phase six due to logistical challenges caused by inclement weather.
The Election Commission has asked voters in urban centres such as Delhi, Gurugram, and Faridabad to defy the pattern of urban indifference by voting in huge numbers on Saturday.
The final phase of polling for the remaining 57 seats will take place on June 1, with vote counting slated for June 4.
The first five rounds of the elections saw the completion of polling for 25 states and union territories, as well as 428 seats.

The third and final phase of polling will take place in Odisha’s 42 assembly constituencies, bringing the state’s assembly elections to a close.
The Lok Sabha elections of 2024 will be held in seven parts, beginning on April 19 May 7, May 13, May 20, coming to the current phase and then and ending on June 1. Votes will be counted on June 4.
